We congratulate Lab's Research Assistant Jet Zhou, a student in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Sciences at Western University, who was honored with the best poster award at the 38th Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) conference's AI in Finance for Social Impact workshop.
Jet's outstanding work, titled "Breaking Barriers: Unveiling Gender Disparities in Corporate Career Paths Using Deep Learning," received recognition for its excellence. The research was co-supervised by Cristián Bravo and Matt Davison and conducted in collaboration with María Óskarsdóttir and Collins G. Ntim.
